Dimly lit photo down some steep stairs in Valletta. Photo exposed for the sky, so the buildings at the end of the stairs and on either side are underexposed. You can just about make out the sea and horizon line in the distance. There are strings of lightbulbs in the fore ground over the alley, some of them distorting the edges of buildings behind them. The sky is bright blue.
